Take a walk on our fire-affected properties with Sonoma Land Trust stewardship managers and witness the spring regrowth with your own eyes. Last year’s wildfires entirely burned the grasslands on Cougar Mountain. Walk with Julian to see the post-fire wildflower blooms and learn about the work being done to restore this working ranchland.

About Sears Point Ranch
SLT's acquisition of this 2,327-acre property in 2005 was the first step in protecting and restoring this scenic property located on the edge of San Pablo Bay between the mouth of the Petaluma River and Tolay Creek. Our vision for this beautiful place is to restore tidal, seasonal, and riparian wetlands, streams, and upland habitats for a wide range of native plants and animals, to protect open space, and to develop public access and educational opportunities, including the new extension to the San Francisco Bay Trail.

Level 3- Some steep inclines and uneven footing
